In 2011, Organic Monitor celebrated 10 years of
encouraging sustainable development. For over a decade, we have
assisted a large number of organisations in the organic & related
product industries. Starting from market research reports in 2001, we
have developed a portfolio of services that include international
sustainability summits, workshops & seminars, technical research,
business consulting and customised research.
When established in 2001, our first service
was the Industry Watch
newsletter. The newsletter remains an invaluable source of information
on the international organic products industry.
Regular news updates are given by our e-newsletter and Industry Watch
web pages.
Our first market research publications
were on the
organic food industry. From Europe, the geographical
coverage expanded to other regions, such
as North America, Asia and Australasia. We
are now the largest
publisher of market research reports on the
global organic products industry, covering
a range of industry sectors and product categories.
To address the specific needs of our clients, we added customised research to our services portfolio in 2002.
Over the last decade, we have undertaken a broad range of customised research projects
that involve providing market data, customer profiles, competitive benchmarking, strategic
inputs, etc. We also provide
business consulting to companies looking for expert
advice and strategic direction in our specialist industries.
Since 2003, our specialisation
has broadened from organic products to related
industries that include natural
cosmetics, natural ingredients, health foods, functional
foods, fair trade products, ethical textiles and related green products.
Our services portfolio broadened further to encompass seminars & workshops in 2006,
and technical research in 2007.
Our technical research division provides guidance and advice on organic & natural
standards, certification, formulation and ingredient issues. We now
provide a range of technical & business solutions to operators in
the organic & related industries.
Following the success of our international workshops, Organic Monitor
launched a a series of sustainability summits in 2009. The Sustainable
Cosmetics Summit and Sustainable Foods Summit cover the leading
sustainability issues faced by the beauty and food industries
respectively. We are the only organisation that hosts such summits at
international locations throughout the year.
Now in our eleventh year, Organic Monitor
continues to build on its reputation as a first-rate
provider of global research, consulting & training in our specialist
industries.
